Deals & discounted ski passes in Alpe d'Huez

Early and late season
Discounted ski passes in Alpe d'Huez are available early and late in the ski season when buying passes online. During these times, the variable snow cover may mean that you are not able to ski in the whole of ski area. 

Saturdays Promo
On Saturdays, you can benefit from discounted day rates for skiing with the Saturday Web Special offer. These passes are only available online and early and late season discounts also apply. Prices depend on how far in advance you buy your pass.

Student discounts are available on 1-3 day ski passes for people aged 13 to 25 years with a student ID. Student ski passes can only be bought at the ticket offices in resort and not online.

Grand Seniors
There are also discounted passes for veteran skiers of 72 years old and over. They are only available at the ski pass offices upon presentation of proof of age.

Spring Skiing
If you are skiing late in the season (from 11th April 2020), then for every adult pass purchased you will get one child pass (aged 5-22 yrs) for free! Offer applies to passes of 3-10 days duration and they must be ordered online at least 48hrs before your first ski day.

Free ski passes in Alpe d'Huez

Under 5s can use the lifts for free. You will need to provide proof of age (age on the first day of skiing is taken) and collect a hands-free pass from one of the Ski Pass Offices to be able to access the lifts. 

Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski-passes

The Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski pass gives you unlimited access to the 250km of pistes within five ski areas and two villages: Alpe d'Huez, Auris en Oisans, La Garde, Le Freney d'Oisans, Oz en Oisans, Vaujany and Villard-Reculas. Passes are available from half a day to 10 days, as well as for a whole season or year. 

6 to 10-day ski passes include two days in Les 2 Alpes and a day in each of the Grande Galaxie resorts of Serre Chevalier, Puy Saint Vincent, Montgenevre and the Italian Milky Way as well as 25% reduction on a lift pass at La Grave.‚Äč By paying a supplementary fee of €25 per person (Pass Loisirs +), all 6 to 10-day ski passes include unlimited access to the Sports Centre, outdoor pool, ice rink, gym (16 years old and over), table tennis and mini golf (equipment included).

Ski Areas in Alpe d'Huez

Vaujany & Oz ski-passes (Local area)

A local area pass is available for the slopes of Vaujany and Oz en Oisans. This pass includes the Pass'Loisirs which entitles the holder to one entry to both the ice rink and swimming pool in Vaujany. If, after a few days, you want to explore a bit further, then you can add on a day pass extension for the full Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine area for a small supplement.

Pedestrian passes in Alpe d'Huez

With over 35km of marked and maintained winter walking trails and 24 accessible lifts, there is plenty to satisfy all those keen ramblers out there. The cable car system provides access to both the skiing pistes and the walking trails, providing the ideal opportunity for meeting up with friends for lunch at one of the many mountain restaurants. Pedestrian passes are available for 1 to 10 days or you can simply buy individual tickets for the lifts you want to take (usually more expensive than the day pass if you plan on using multiple lifts).

Cross-country ski passes in Alpe d'Huez

There are six cross-country skiing pistes with a total of 55km in Alpe d'Huez. Cross-country ski passes are only available to buy from the Ski Pass Offices. They give you access to the following lifts: DMC1, Jeux, Télévillage, Télécentre, Poutran drag lift, Grenouilles magic carpet and AlpAuris chairlift in Alpe d'Huez; Auris Express and Louvets chairlift, and Bauchets and Bambin magic carpets in Auris; and Ascenseur and Villarais chairlift in Villard Reculas. Day, week and season duration passes are available.

Alpe d'Huez Express
Alpe d'Huez Express is a subscription-based, pay-per-use pass available to holders of a French bank account. Your account is automatically charged after each day of skiing, depending on how much you have skied. You benefit from special discounts and savings on weekends and throughout the winter season. The more you ski, the more you save!

10-day Card
Undated, non-consecutive 10-day passes are available for the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine area. No refunds or credit are given for any days remaining unused at the end of the season.

Season & annual passes

Early purchase discounts are available on season or annual passes if bought in September, October and November. Full price passes come into effect in December so, the earlier you buy, the more money you're likely to save. At the time of purchase on the annual passes, you'll be given a voucher to use for the following summer so don't lose it! You can also buy season and annual passes for cross-country skiing and for pedestrians too.

Beginner ski passes in Alpe d'Huez

There are two beginner passes in Alpe d'Huez. The 'Débutant' pass allows access to the Rif Nel beginner zone including the Petit and Grand Rif Nel drag lifts and the Rif Nel lift, the Espace des Jeux – a protected beginner area on the Signal sector –, the Sagnes lift and the Ecoles drag lifts. The '1ère Glisse' pass gives access to all drag and chairlifts starting in Alpe d'Huez except the AlpAuris and Marmottes chairlifts. These passes can only be bought at the Ski Pass Offices in resort.

Group ski passes in Alpe d'Huez

Groups coming to Alpe d'Huez can benefit from a discount on their Grand Domaine passes by purchasing the Tribu ski pass ("tribu" is French for "tribe", and you may see both spellings being used). The Tribu price applies to groups of at least three people (maximum of nine), aged 5-71 years, purchasing ski passes at the same time and for the same dates and duration. These passes are only available to buy online and must be purchased at least seven days in advance of the first skiing day.

Family ski passes in Alpe d'Huez

The Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine also offers discounted Family Ski Passes to groups of at least four family members purchasing ski passes for the same dates and duration. The family can be made up of parents, grandparents and mixed family groups but must comprise of at least two children aged 5-22 years and a maximum of two adults aged 23-71. Family ski passes are only available to buy online and must be purchased seven days in advance of first skiing day. Children under the age of five years can ski for free (proof of age is required for all children).
