Events in Alpe d'Huez on 19 January 2022

The world championships of assisted skiing are otherwise known as the Augmented World Skiing Championships. The event is designed for skiers who are assisted with Exoskeleton devices such as ski-mojo.

For four days in March, Alpe d’Huez surrenders itself to music as the resort is transformed into a fantasy festival wonderland for 25,000 music lovers! 

Are you ready to tackle the Derby du Loup? A 1,400m timed descent from the summit of Pic Blanc on the 'Combe du Grand Cros', also known as the 'Combe du Loup'.

This futsal tournament brings together 16 international teams for a five-a-side football competition. 

The Sarenne Snow Bike event is a non-timed downhill mountain bike descent on the mythical Sarenne. Starting at Pic Blanc (3,330m) and ending in Huez (1,500m) it covers a descent of 16km and almost 2,000 vertical metres.

Alpe d’Huez is a mecca for mountain bikers and the UCC Megavalanche is now one of the many mountain biking events of the Grandes Rousses summer season, let alone being the longest downhill race in the world! 

Oisans Col Series reserves sections of the road or a col to Alpe d'Huez for cyclists who will gather to tackle a part of the famous climb of the 21 bends without any motor vehicles.

It’s back! France's favourite sporting event will include Alpe d'Huez's legendary 21 bends once more.

Le Pic de l'Alpe is a 23.6k relay or individual race with 2,616m of ascent between Bourg d'Oisans (707m) and the Pic du Lac Blanc (3,323m).
