Ski Lifts/Areas & Skipass Offices in Alpe d'Huez — 5 of Our Favourites

Located just off Avenue Ninety Three Eme at the top of the Eclose chairlift and at the bottom of the Bergers chairlift, the office provides ski passes and lift passes.

You’ll also find piste maps, bus and train timetables (where applicable), weather forecasts, ski condition updates and avalanche bulletins. If you don’t already have the right cover, you can purchase the necessary mountain or ski insurance here as well.

Accomodation close by is the Residence Les Pistes, the Chalet des Neiges and Les Adelphies. You can buy your ski pass for the Oz-Vaujany area and for the Alpe d'Huez ski area here. Also available at the lift pass office are piste maps, bus (& train where appropriate) timetables, weather forecasts, ski condition details and avalanche bulletins. You can also purchase the necessary mountain/ski insurance here if you do not already have the correct cover.

The cashier windows are located up the escalator inside the tourist office. Next to the lift pass office is the famous Alpe d’Huez “lobster pot” lift system, which whisks you up over the town to the DMC, from where you can head towards the Pic Blanc or Signal.

Here, you can buy lift passes, pick up a piste map and get more information about the resort. The lift pass office also provides bus and train timetables (where applicable), weather forecasts, ski condition updates and avalanche bulletins. If you don’t already have the correct cover, you can purchase the necessary mountain or ski insurance here too.

Open from 08:45 to 16:45. From mid-December, open until 19:00 for ski pass collection.

You can find it at the Rond Point des Pistes, by the Téléphérique des Grandes Rousses building (commonly known as the DMC lift), near the Signal chairlift.

The desks can be accessed from both road level and directly from the slopes via the Marmottes lift.
