Night Sledding

Sledding fun after dark on a floodlit piste

Go whizzing down the Butte de l'Eclose every evening by the light of the stars (and the flood lights).

Only sledges with brakes permitted (not provided); helmets recommended. Sleds and helmets can be hired from most sports shops in resort.

This activity is free to lift pass holders (including pedestrian and cross-country passes). Those without lift passes can buy tickets at the foot of the slope. 1 ticket: € 1.50 / unlimited access: € 5.

Upcoming Events

Alpe d'Huez hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. In the winter, you can expect motor racing on ice, comedy festivals, ski races and various live music gigs. During the summer months, the focus turns to cycling with the Tour de France usually passing through town. The Megavalanche, a mass-start mountain bike race that draws thousands of MTB fans from around the world, takes place in July.
