Are there any free lifts in Alpe d'Huez?

Yes, there are free lifts in Alpe d’Huez. The easiest to access are the “Grenouilles” (by the DMC) and the “RifNel” by Les Bergers. Whilst neither have a “gate” to access them it is advised that you obtain an “empty” lift pass from a lift pass office to be on the safe side.
