Alpe d'huez closing on 24th April - The End is Nigh!!!
With the warm weather melting the snow the decision has been made to close the ski area in Alpe d'huez early this year. The resort will now shut on the 24th April.
Hopefully before it does close we will have one last dump of snow, as we are forecast 20cm this weekend. The Sarenne bike race takes place this coming week and marks the first of many big cycling events that are coming up this summer in Alpe d'huez.
