It's grand slam time for the England rugby team this Saturday, and it's France up next for the Eddie Jones’ men.
It's 13 long years since England secured their last Grand Slam by winning every game of their 6 nations campaign. This Saturday sees England take on France at the Stade de France in Paris with the Grand Slam as the carrot for victory for England.
With the Calcutta Cup and Triple Crown already in the trophy cabinet it's all to play for for a revived England, under new manager Eddie Jones.
And with kick off coming at 9pm CET on Saturday night, it's a perfect time for a few beers and to cheer England on.
There will be plenty of places to catch the action here in Alpe d’Huez – down in the old town both The O’Bar and L’Indiana will be showing the game.
In the middle of town Smithys Tavern (above the Igloo nightclub) will have the action live on its 2 giant TV screens, and with drinks promotions and offers on jugs of beer the atmosphere is sure to be great.
Meanwhile up in the Main Street (Avenue Les Jeux) both O’Sharkeys and Sphere Bar will have the game on, and again the atmosphere should be great.
Whilst down the hill from the Palais des Sports et des Congres (the leisure centre) Busty and the Boys in the Underground Bar will have all the action on.
Should you fancy watching the game with a bit more of a Gallic vibe, then why not try The Freeride Bar in the Main Street or Chez Leo or The Tiger Bar over in Les Bergers – these will no doubt be full of passionate French fans hoping for an upset and to stop England in their tracks...
