Restaurants

Smart mountain restaurant at 2300 metres at the top of the Mamrottes lift with sweeping views and an impressive sun terrace. Expect refined dishes made with local ingredients, from fresh fish and steaks to a gourmet beef burger with Beaufort cheese. Ideal for a long lunch before heading next door to the Folie Douce for aprรจs.

Set at the top of the Marmottes 1 lift, La Fruitiรจre offers a refined mountain dining experience with panoramic views across Alpe dโ€™Huez and beyond. The terrace is one of the most impressive in resort, with a smart and carefully laid-out setting that adds to the high-end feel.

The menu features beautifully presented dishes using quality ingredients and local produce, including fish, steaks, chicken and a gourmet beef burger with Beaufort cheese. Service is attentive without being overbearing and the relaxed atmosphere makes this a great place to take a break from skiing or boarding for a memorable mountain lunch.

Youโ€™ll find both classic and more creative plates here, all served with a side of exceptional scenery. The terrace fills up quickly, so booking ahead is recommended if you want one of the front row tables overlooking the slopes. Open every day from 12:00 to 15:00, with two sittings available at 12.30 and 14.00.

The restaurant sits alongside the iconic Folie Douce terrace, so if youโ€™re in the mood for music and aprรจs ski, you can wander straight from lunch to the party next door.

If you want to do aprรจs at Folie Douce and have lunch without the gourmet dining experience or price tag, try the Petite Cuisine, a good value, self-service restaurant also situated at Folie Douce at the top of the Marmottes lift.
