Following on the from the hugely successful ski display on Wednesday evening the “street carnival” was in full swing last night.

The “Main Street” (Avenue Les Jeux) was closed to traffic from 4pm until 9pm and the street became a mini “Rio” or “Notting Hill. With street stalls selling a fantastic array of local produce including wines, cheeses, nuts and jams and street entertainers keeping the party vibe going throughout the afternoon and early evening.

As with the ski display large crowds were in attendance.

This was the second of three annual street carnivals to be held here in resort this February – they generally run the week before the UK school half term, the week of the U.K half term and the week after the UK half term – and the final one is Thursday 25th February from 4pm until 9pm, if you are in resort why not pop along and have a look and get in the carnival spirit.
