This weekend (Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March 2017) ski cross legend Ophelie David hosts her annual "Ofe X Weekend" here in Alpe d’Huez.

Ofe X Weekend is a yearly ski cross weekend up at the snow park up on the DMC slope at the top end of town. Both days will feature masterclasses on ski cross from Ophelie herself, with races for 11 to 14 year olds.

It's a wonderful weekend where our local ski star really does give a bit back to the local community.

For those of you interested in ski cross, it's a chance to meet up with a true legend of the sport. Ophelie has been at the very top level of this sport for over a decade now and in that period she has claimed 4 gold medals at the winter X games, a gold at the World Championships, as well as several silver and gold medals in other events.

The action gets underway between 09:00 and 15:00 on both days up at the DMC area of resort.
