Where to watch end of season Premier League matches in Alpe d'Huez
Find all the bars & times for the rest of this season's matches
The 2015/16 English Premier League season is surely the most unpredictable of all seasons. Can 5000/1 outsiders Leicester City actually achieve the impossible and pip the powerhouses of Manchester City and Arsenal to the title?, or will Arsenal fiercest of rivals Tottenham Hotspur win their first title since 1961, some 55 years ago.
Between now and the closure of the lifts here in Alpe d’Huez there are a massive 19 live televised matches being shown, and there's no need to miss out on the action whilst you are here in resort.
The games include all the main players in the title race with shock league leaders Leicester City featuring in 4 of the live games, whilst Tottenham who currently occupy second spot feature in 3 of the games.
And there's also the not so small matter of the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton on Wednesday 20th April as well.
The games will also decide if Louis Van Gaal can save his job by steering his massively underperforming Manchester United side into the top 4, and with it secure Champions League football for next season – United feature in 2 of the live games to be shown. Failure to achieve a top 4 spot will surely spell the end at Old Trafford for the Dutchman.
As always there are plenty of bars which will be showing all the action. Down in the old town both L’Indiana and the O’Bar always show the action, why not try some of the great tapas in O’Bar whilst taking the games in.
Whilst in the middle of town Smithys Tavern (above the igloo nightclub) is always busy for the football and shows the action on 2 big screens in High Definition, and with great offers on jugs of beer, it's a great shout for watching the footy.
Meanwhile up in the Main Street (Avenue Les Jeux) both Sphere Bar (at the very top end) and O’Sharkeys (opposite the ice rink) will be screening all the games.
And over in Les Bergers the Tiger Bar always shows the English games along with all the French Ligue1 games as well.
In this most unpredictable of seasons one things is for sure and that's there plenty of twists, turns and drama still to come, so make sure catch it all here in Alpe d’Huez.
