Ski Cross Racer Ophelie David is off to Sochi
Alpe d'Huez local and queen of ski cross heads to the Winter Olympics
Just 8 days after getting a podium finish in Val Thorens, local Ophelie David has been confirmed as being part of the 2014 French winter olympics team.
Ophelie is the 6x world champion at ski cross, and has racked up a number of X games victories as well as being ranked number 1 in the world since 2004. Take a look at her current FIS results and rankings here.
You can watch her in action at the Olympics on 21st February from 11:45 in the qualifiers, then on to the finals at 13:30
