Alpe d'Huez Opens for Weekend Glacier Skiing this Saturday

Conditions are good, lets get out there!!!

From this Saturday 16th November Alpe d'Huez opens it glacier for skiing and snowboarding for the weekend, and on every weekend until the official opening on the 6th December.

There's been enough snow fall to allow early opening, with 5 pistes (Cristallière, Herpie, Hermine, Crystal, and Glacier ( reserved for good skiers) accessed via the Grandes Rousses DMC 1 and 2 lifts, the Pic Blanc cable car, and the Glacier and Herpie chairlifts.

Check out the live lift status, live webcams and buy on line for discounted weekend ski passes. If you've already bought your season pass you can use this, otherwise it's 40€ for the weekend or 25€ for the day.

The Palais du Sports will also be open from 2.30pm to 8pm on Saturday.
