The nearest main hospital is located in Grenoble and has an “Accident and Emergency” and all the main functions you would expect from a major city hospital. Alpe d’Huez has a medical centre situated in the ‘Les Bergers’ commercial centre. In the local area, the towns of Bourg d’Oisans and Allemont also have medical centres.
- If you need urgent medical attention you can call 15 free of charge from any landline or payphone, this will put you through to Samu, the French ambulance service.
