Beautifully furnished, Chalet Sophie is decorated in the traditional Savoyard style, with a large fireplace, wood and stone interior and deep colours giving the rooms a warm feel.

Chalet Sophie offers plenty of space in all of its rooms, with a large open-plan living area that includes satellite television. The space becomes wonderfully cosy, especially with the fire roaring, creating the perfect setting for relaxation after a day on the slopes.

The chalet features a fully equipped American kitchen with modern amenities, including hotplates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, extractor fan, and fridge, along with all the crockery and pans you’ll need to cook and dine at your leisure.

Accommodating up to twelve people, the chalet offers ample comfort and space, with multiple en-suite bathrooms and toilets. The chalet also boasts its own private balcony with panoramic views of the mountains, as well as a private sauna to unwind in after an active day.

You can choose between two service options during your stay:

  • self-catered: this option includes a food delivery service. You’ll receive a comprehensive shopping list, and the provisions you select will be delivered and stocked in the kitchen before your arrival. A mid-week restock is also available if needed. Please note, the cost of the provisions is not included in the rates
  • contactless catered: this service includes daily breakfast, afternoon snacks, and six evening meals with pre-dinner nibbles. Drinks are also included, and all provisions will be ordered and stocked before your arrival

Upcoming Events

Alpe d'Huez hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. In the winter, you can expect motor racing on ice, comedy festivals, ski races and various live music gigs. During the summer months, the focus turns to cycling with the Tour de France usually passing through town. The Megavalanche, a mass-start mountain bike race that draws thousands of MTB fans from around the world, takes place in July.
