Five-star hotel in the centre of Alpe d'Huez
Opened in 2018, this hotel takes its name from one of the most famous and rarest diamonds in the world, the Daria-I-Noor, which is part of the Iranian crown jewels. It offers luxury facilities right at the foot of the Alpe d'Huez slopes.
Its 37 rooms and nine suites offer private balconies, a safe, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, flat-screen satellite TV, WiFi and luxury bathroom products. There are also connecting family rooms accommodating up to five people.
The hotel boasts an 800m2 spa, two pools, a gym, sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi, sensory showers, an ice fountain and a solarium. Families will be glad to know that there are special discounts for kids, baby packs, babysitting services and children's menus.
The hotel offers two restaurants, a fine-dining establishment, L'Amethyste, and a bistro, La Table du Daria. Their lounge bar serves cocktails and hot and cold drinks as well as snacks.

- "My wife and I spent a Ski week at this incredibly beautiful ski resort, made that much more spectacular because of Hotel Daria I Nor. We can’t stop talking about the wonderful rooms, great views, terrific service by one of the most friendly staff we ever encountered. Did I mention the gourmet meals? The chef certainly knows how to please hungry skiers, while the pastry chef came up with tasty and creative desserts. The hotel has ideal ski in- ski out facilities. A lift runs practically at the entrance to the ski shop, ( where my skis and boots were kept warm) making each morning's start, and each evening's end so comfortable. Alpe d’Huez will certainly see us again, and Hotel Daria I Nor will see us and our friends next season" - Trip Advisor
- "Stayed week commencing 18th Jan 20. After a delayed flight the staff were very welcoming and got us to our room ASAP. A beautiful apartment, very contemporary and clean. The staff at reception could not do not enough to help and very friendly. The use of the minibus was a lifesaver. Access to the ski lifts was just through the ski shop and from there access to the whole resort was great. Can’t recommend this hotel enough - we will be back!" - Trip Advisor
