Situated in the Quartier des Bergers, this chalet is just 320m from the Alpauris chair and ski school meeting point, with Les Bergers selection of shops and bars only a short walk away.
Constructed in traditional Alpine style using local timber and stone, this chalet offers wonderful mountain views from the outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy stunning sunsets whilst soothing away the days aches in the private hot tub. And if that's not enough, there is also the sauna to enjoy.
The open-plan living area is well-lit with floor to ceiling windows running almost the entire length of the room. A large L-shaped sofa dominates the lounge area offering the perfect place to curl up with a good book or enjoy an aperitif whilst you simply watch the snow fall as the staff prepare your evening meal. A large dining table with 8 dining chairs sits next to the open plan kitchen area.
Guests also have a ski storage room and heated boot dryers, so no risk of cold toes and struggling into stiff boots in the morning.

The neighbourhood
Set at around 1,800m at the top of the world famous Tour de France climb of the 21 bends, Alpe d’Huez is a large south facing resort with a fantastic record for both snow and sunshine. Whilst large in size it has managed to retain the mountain village feel of the old town. Often sitting above the clouds Alpe d’Huez is referred to by the locals as “Ile’ de Soleil” = “Island of Sun”.
