This chalet is set off a quiet road leading through La Villette, which is linked to the Alpe d'Huez ski area. It is a quintessential French Alpine chalet, converted from an old farmhouse, oozes character and charm with an abundance of wood and grey mountain stone.
This charming Alpine farmhouse is full of character and atmosphere. Meals are enjoyed in the former milking parlour, now transformed into a spacious dining room with its original vaulted ceiling still intact. To add to the cosy ambiance, a crackling open log fire provides warmth and charm.
The homely living room blends modern leather seating with comfortable traditional sofas and armchairs, creating a welcoming space to unwind. Settle in with a DVD, enjoy a glass of wine, or step out onto the balcony to take in the breathtaking mountain views.
Stay connected with WiFi access available throughout the chalet. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided, making it easy to pack light - ideal for families or longer stays. The ski room includes boot warmers, so you can start each morning with toasty, dry footwear before heading out to the slopes.
The chalet can sleep up to eleven guests in six bedrooms:
- bedroom one: double bed, shared bathroom and wc.
- bedroom two. double bed and 1 single, shared bathroom and wc.
- bedroom three: double bed, en-suite bathroom, wc and balcony. (can add an extra camp bed if required)
- bedroom four: double bed and one single, en-suite bathroom, wc and balcony
- bedroom fice: two single beds, en-suite bathroom, wc and separate shower.
- bedroom six ‘eaves room’: one double bed, two singles, en-suite bathroom and wc.
As part of your stay at Rostaing, you'll also enjoy lifts to Vaujany, where you can explore the shops, swimming pool, and lift station. On the chalet staff’s night off, you can also be dropped off at a restaurant of your choice. Staying in La Villette is a truly special experience, where history, traditions, and Alpine charm blend seamlessly with the convenience of being just three minutes from a modern ski resort.
