Saskia Chalet

10 bedroom Chalet in Alpe d'Huez. Sleeps 26

This charming contemporary yet homely chalet won the ’Alpine Chalet of the Year’ at the 2001 Golden Ski Awards. It is situated in the picturesque village of Vaujany which  links directly to the Alpe d'Huez ski area via cable car.

A luxury catered ski chalet, Chalet Saskia has been a guest favourite since it was built in 2000. With its picture-perfect location on the sun-drenched, south-facing slopes of Vaujany and a stylish, well-appointed interior, it has rightfully earned its place as Ski Peak’s flagship chalet.

Designed for ultimate relaxation, the chalet is packed with luxurious touches, including iPod docks in every room, boot warmers in the ski room, and underfloor heating for extra comfort.

The spacious living room is furnished with plenty of comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove, creating a cosy winter retreat. Entertainment is well covered, with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and a selection of DVDs, plus table tennis and board games for a little friendly competition. WiFi access is available throughout, so you can easily stay connected with friends and family.

For après-ski indulgence, the chalet boasts a stunning outdoor hot tub with panoramic valley views—the perfect spot to unwind and soothe aching muscles. A brand-new sauna adds another level of relaxation.

The chalet’s prime location is just 200 metres from the local lift station, making it effortless to access the slopes. It is also just a short stroll from the sports complex, where you will find an indoor pool.

The chalet’s unique mirror-image design allows it to be used as a single, spacious retreat, featuring ten fully en-suite bedrooms, perfect for accommodating larger groups in comfort and style.
